A superb example of Baluch weaving heritage, this 5x3 ft Semi Antique rug showcases the celebrated Boteh design of Sistan and Baluchestan, khorasan, rendered here in rich tones of Red, Blue with the authority of long tradition.
The color world of Baluch rugs is immediately distinctive and unlike any other Persian weaving tradition. Deep rust reds and warm madder browns form the predominant ground colors, accented by near-black secondary elements that
