Our team of skilled weavers will hand-knot your rug using 100% hand-spun vegetable-dyed wool, unless you require bright colors. These weavers are experts from Persia who work in high-level workshops, ensuring that your rug will be of the highest quality.
Creating your custom rug is a straightforward process. You can use any digital design, logo, or picture to create your rug, and it can be any color you desire. We start by shaping and coloring the rug to the size you require, and then we send you the design for approval before we begin weaving.
Hand-knotting a rug is a time-consuming process that can take months or even years, depending on the size and complexity of the design. An experienced weaver can tie each knot in an average of 2 seconds. Our rugs are woven in Persia and have 2,500 up to 10,000 knots per square decimeter (161-645 knots per square inch). Silk rugs can have even more knots than this.
Once we receive approval for the measurements and colors, we print the design on paper and send it to our professional weavers in Persia. Our weavers then begin the longest stage of the process: hand-knotting your custom rug. While the product is being woven, we take images and videos and send them to you for your approval. Our craftspeople meticulously complete the weaving process, ensuring that your rug is of the highest quality.
